North Loop Real Estate

Known for its tree-lined streets, the North Loop real estate is found in one of the most walkable and bikeable areas of the city, and local businesses cater to the alternative transportation set. Bike shops and skate shops offer reasonably-priced merchandise and convenient repairs. Restaurants provide ample outdoor space for pedestrians to mingle. Scooter parking is frequently provided. Food trucks are as abundant as cyclists.

North Loop has gained a reputation for rivaling the artsy vibe of South Congress, which lies south of Lady Bird Lake.  The neighborhood is known for its dive bars and its casual dining. Local retail includes Forbidden Fruit, Blue Velvet Vintage, Blackbird Clothes and Curios, and MonkeyWrench Bookstore. Epoch coffee is usually jammed. More conventional shopping options in the area include the Hancock Center, which has an H.E.B., a Petco, a 24 Hour Fitness, and several other chain retailers.
